Summers Inman announces the launch of its new Digital Surveying service to compliment and support a growing portfolio of in-house design and drawing work and to provide an additional range of services to its Clients.

Using the latest 3D laser scanning equipment a range of surveys can be undertaken quickly and accurately and the data used to build full colour building models.

Summers Inman Building Surveyors have used Revit software for several years as a drawing tool on many projects. As the move towards Building Information Modelling (BIM) gathered pace we decided to invest in the latest 3D laser scanning equipment so that we could:

  • Improve the efficiency of our traditional on site surveying techniques
  • Widen the range of surveys and applications that we could provide
  • Produce Revit models for our own use and offer the service to others

Following an extensive period of training and investment we are now ready to launch our new specialist company Providing the same quality and level of service for which Summers Inman is renowned throughout the UK.

SI360 are early adopters in the use of 3D laser scanning for a wide range of projects including the preparation of plans and elevations of existing buildings, recording the condition of existing buildings, monitoring movement and providing accurate data on difficult to access areas.

SI360 have embraced the latest 3D data capture methods and techniques and set up a specialist team who operate globally. We provide digital survey solutions to owner operators, asset managers and engineers across the oil and gas, petrochemical, built environment and renewable sectors.

Using our cutting edge 3D scanning equipment, SI360 is able to provide clients with highly accurate topographical surveys. Digital topographical surveys can deal with any terrain, however complex.

The production of high quality, precise digital surveys allows for landowners, developers and those for who accurate surveying information is essential to be assured that there are no surprises on even the most demanding projects.
